Ismael Domingo is a Sr. Civil/Structural Designer with experience in the oil and gas (Offshore & Onshore), Petrochemical, pharmaceutical, Wastewater and Mining engineering services industry. His experience includes Civil/Structural Design & 2d drafting and 3d modelling. He has experience in designing Onshore Upstream and downstream such as O&G Production plants, Petrochemical plants, Tank farm & Off-loading Facilities and LNG Jetty Terminals Regasification Facilities. Architectural Building services, Off-Shore Upstream such as Well Head platform, Well Head & Production Platforms & Living quarters. And other undertaken projects such as Nuclear waste treatment plants, Power plants, Heavy industrial plants, Warehouses, Petrochemical plants, Waste Water treatment plant, Pharmaceutical projects and coal mining.
As a CSA Designer, he has been responsible for preparing Civil/Structural 3d models to prepare the design drawings both concrete and steel drawings and Architectural building services. Utilizing PDS, E3D/PDMS, Bentley Triforma, Smart plant 3d Structural, Revit 3d modelling engineering 3d software’s and Tekla Structural modelling. He was also assigned as Design application specialist for Plant Design System of civil/structural department. Experienced in conducting hands–on training sessions for familiarisation using Bentley Microstation and mentoring junior designers, PDS Frameworks Plus and Aveva E3D/PDMS. And knowledgeable in 3d modelling of HVAC, Equipment models and PDMS MDS pipe support. Attended Revit C&S training session. Conducted 3D modelling training sessions, setup and troubleshooting.  Performs other related tasks in support of project engineer that are non-routine and complex in nature, such as writing procedures and specifications. Performs certain administrative tasks, such as determining manpower requirements, establishing drawing schedules, assigning tasks to lower-level design/drafting personnel, etc. Preparing and issuing of job works to the designers
Coordination of the work received from the Structural Engineers.
Updating of the progress of project (3d tags review comment close-out, 3d clash check, etc). Create company 3d modelling setup, procedure and instructions. Input for manhour estimates. Check drawing for issue for IDC, IFA/IFC. Monitor manhours for project managements and report to Lead engineer for manning forecasts of the project.
Ensuring design consistency across all projects.Implementing company standards and procedures.Establishes design criteria for assigned phase of a project requiring the application of basic engineering principles, material properties and a familiarity with 3d modelling design tools software to produce detailed and extracted 2d design and implementing project cad procedures and company standards and procedures.Provides conceptual input to projects during the planning stages.
Prepares detail and layout drawings and sketches of unusual, complex, or original designs requiring the application of theoretical and practical engineering knowledge. Assignments regularly include determining material needs and performing necessary calculations using accepted formulas and references. Provides technical guidance and mentoring lower-level design/drafting personnel and reviews completed assignments for accuracy. Regularly interfaces with other departments, clients, vendors data, and project engineer in order to support project production related to project structural steel design.
